PTFE Dust Collection Filter Bags

Efficient Filtration for Industrial Applications

PTFE film features a large number of continuous micropores (typical pore size 0.2–1 μm), enabling surface filtration. Dust cannot penetrate the film and remains entirely on the surface of the filter media; this distinguishes it from conventional filter media that rely on depth filtration.

PTFE Dust Collection Filter Bags Overview

PTFE is a fiber with extremely stable chemical properties, capable of withstanding continuous operating temperatures of 260°C or higher and instantaneous temperatures of up to 280°C. It exhibits outstanding resistance to strong acids and corrosion and can withstand corrosion from various strong oxidizing agents: It has excellent hydrolytic stability, is virtually non-flammable, and possesses outstanding electrical insulation, thermal insulation, and light stability. With a low coefficient of friction and minimal adhesion, it can withstand harsh operating conditions involving strong acids and alkalis, and typically has a service life of over 4 years.

Advantages

  1. Ultra-high filtration efficiency, suitable for ultra-low emissions: Filtration efficiency for dust ≥0.3 μm is ≥99.99%, with stable outlet dust levels ≤5 mg/Nm³; The preferred choice for ultrafine dust, carbon black, iron oxide dust, lithium battery powders, coal gas dust removal, and kiln emission standard upgrades; suitable for downstream integration with TRT systems and fan blade protection.
  2. Excellent dust-shaking performance and stable long-term pressure drop: Dust does not penetrate the filter felt; after pulse-jet cleaning, the dust cake detaches in one piece; With ordinary non-coated filter media, dust becomes embedded in the felt during long-term operation, causing the pressure drop to rise continuously.
  3. Non-stick, hydrophobic, and resistant to mildly adhesive dust: PTFE has extremely low surface energy and is inherently hydrophobic; compared to ordinary filter media, it is less prone to bag clogging; it offers superior adaptability in environments with low levels of moisture and mildly adhesive dust.
  4. High chemical inertness (of the film itself): The film is resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, and oxidizing agents; corrosion damage occurs only in the underlying base fabric fibers, while the film itself is highly resistant to corrosion.
  5. Can be modified with anti-static, water-repellent, and oil-repellent properties: Conductive fibers are blended into the base fabric to create anti-static coated filter bags, used for explosion-proof dust collection in applications involving pulverized coal, blast furnace gas, and combustible powders.
  6. Continuous operating temperature: 240–260°C; peak temperature: 280°C
  7. Exceptional resistance to strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidizing agents, hydrolysis, and oxidation; virtually unaffected by flue gas corrosion

Suitable for high-sulfur smelting and highly corrosive incineration flue gases

Key Technical Attributes and Advantages

STEP 1

High-Temperature Resistance

Our PTFE dust collection filter bags are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 260°C, making them suitable for applications with high thermal loads, such as in chemical processing and metalworking industries.

STEP 2

Chemical Resistance

These bags are resistant to most acids and alkalis, ensuring that they do not react with the substances they filter, which is crucial for maintaining the purity of the filtered material in pharmaceutical and food processing applications.

STEP 3

Durability and Longevity

The PTFE material used in our filter bags is known for its exceptional durability, which translates to a longer service life compared to other materials. This reduces the frequency of bag replacements and lowers maintenance costs.

STEP 4

Ease of Cleaning

PTFE dust collection filter bags are easier to clean due to their smooth surface, which does not allow particles to adhere strongly. This feature is beneficial for maintaining high filtration efficiency and reducing downtime for cleaning.
