Temperature Resistance

Basalt fiber is a new type of high-tech inorganic fiber made from basalt ore, which is melted at a high temperature of approximately 1,500°C and then drawn into fibers. It possesses a variety of excellent properties, including high strength, resistance to acids and alkalis, high-temperature resistance, low-temperature resistance (-269 to +650°C), fire resistance, UV resistance, non-hygroscopicity, and electrical insulation.

Basalt fiber nonwoven needle-punched felt features a three-dimensional mesh structure, uniformly distributed pores, and excellent filtration performance. It fills the gap in filter media for high-temperature flue gas (250–450°C) and serves as a premium material for filtering high-temperature corrosive gases, flue gas, and corrosive liquids.
It is primarily used for high-temperature dust filtration in the monocrystalline silicon, carbon black, steel, non-ferrous metals, chemical, and waste incineration industries.
